97F and muggy. YUCK. I went out this AM to see if I could get some cloud break as the flowers are looking particularly lovely after the rain storm. No such luck.

That's not ugly. It was 109 here today. No rain for weeks, grass is crunchy, creeks are disappearing!
Now that's ugly!

Going to Columbia River Gorge tomorrow for a week of hiking and shooting.

That's pretty wretched. It was a bit cooler today - and less humid. I have been a bit overwhelmed by the heat. It was over 80 degrees when I left the apartment at 4:30 AM this morning (ahhh - nothing for morning glory photo contest yet!).
