Thanks, as the saying goes I am proud to say I have done the entire WIDTH of the trail. Seriously we only do day hikes but have been to many of trail spots in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Highly recommended. Have you been on the trail?

Cheers,
Ron

Not for any appreciable length of space. I have been on tiny pieces in New Hampshire. I have talked with my wife, Chanthee, about my desire to do the whole trail, start to finish. Sadly, that will only occur if I become independently wealthy. smile

You need to try some of the trail from the Virginia Highlands (wild ponies there) to North Carolina. A photographer, such as yourself, would love the mountains, strams, waterfalls, etc. In the fall, this area rivals New England, but few people know about it, as most people travel from the North down I95 to Florida. I will start to post some more pics of this area too.

Cheers,
Ron
