This is probably my favorite "Elk Crossing River" photo. The cow has what I consider to be a near perfect head stance and ear placement. The trail of water behind her is unspoiled. I have a bull elk that I posted earlier that is certainly handsome - but it misses the reflection, and the trail of water is a bit more 'clutzy' without the grace that I see in this one.
