Spoken like a true photographer that knows something about getting a shot like this. You caught me on this one. Easter Week is traditionally the busiest time in Death Valley and people had been hiking all over the dunes all week. The morning I was out there, there must have been 50 other photographers. Just about every other dune had a guy with a tripod on it. Needless to say it took alot of cleaning up to get the desolate look back. Apparently though I missed a panel in the pano so you see the footsteps to nowhere. I will have to go back and fix that one and redo this.
