Wildfire near Grand Canyon expands
The Ruby Fire eight miles southeast of Tusayan, Ariz. continues to grow slowly and is approximately 1,290 acres. It is one ½ miles southwest of the Game Reserve Fire that is in Grand Canyon National Park.

Two climbers injured in Rocky Mountain National Park
Rocky Mountain National Park rangers are responding to an incident that occurred this afternoon above Emerald Lake. Two male climbers fell below Hallett Peak above the south side of Emerald Lake. They had been steep snow climbing. This area is roughly 2.5 miles from the Bear Lake Trailhead in a steep, rocky area.
