Update: Marine Patrol Releases Victims' Names In Water Rescue
The Maine Marine Patrol has released the names of the people rescued from the water off Acadia National Park Sunday. The 7-year-old girl who died has been identified as Clio Dahyun Axilrod of New York, New York.

Thunder Hole at Acadia National Park is beautiful, but can be dangerous
We go to Acadia National Park several times a year from our home in upstate New York. It takes abou 8 1/2 hours if we only stop for gas and the bathroom. Several years ago, we bought a cottage there and we spend our days haunting the Ocean Path along the Loop Road.
