That test is interesting for sure. I wonder if they had ICC profiles for soft-proofing each lab.

My experience with the local Costco stores has been OK as far as the quality of the actual printing, but their handling of the prints after the fact leaves much to be desired. Lots of crooked cuts, bent corners and such.

It would be interesting to see the new MPIX pro in the mix now too.

One thing I forgot to mention is that I do print my own on-site when the event makes it convenient. I use a Shinko printer that is a beast in terms of portability, but it is rock solid and reliable.
