Denali National Park and Preserve is hip with the times. Doyon/ARAMARK Joint Venture, the transportation concessioner for the park, will start accepting advance reservations by phone, online, mail, or fax for shuttle buses and the park's four largest campgrounds starting Tuesday, December 1.

Wyoming Will Not Block Yellowstone Snowmobile Plan
The state of Wyoming announced that it does not plan to seek an injunction against a new Park Service rule that limits the number of snowmobiles entering Yellowstone National Park. The Park Service issued a temporary rule on Friday limiting snowmobiles to 318 a day at the park, beginning next month and continuing through the next winter season.

Zion National Park installs entrance station photovoltaics
Superintendent Jock Whitworth has announced that Zion National Park recently installed solar photovoltaic systems at the park’s South and East Entrance Stations. The two kilowatt systems provide 50 percent of the power required to run the entrance stations and are tied directly to the electrical grid to avoid the need for storage batteries.
