Grand Canyon National Park hiking trail conditions after heavy snow
Recent storms that brought flooding to Las Vegas have left about eight inches of heavy snow on Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim. Some sort of traction device is recommended for hikers, as trail conditions get more icy as time passes. For example, while the trail may not be icy when a hiker enters the Grand Canyon, a couple days while hiking out, trail conditions could be very different.
