Well, we survived the Chicago blizzard and now it is bone chilling cold -- -14 this morning. Warm weather is coming this weekend. It's supposed to be in the 30's -- YIPEE.

Thought I would share a few casual shots of the blizzard.

My back door. Door was totally blocked and had to squeeze out a 6" opening to clean off the porch and get the dogs out.

Canon buried himself in a 4' snowdrift and then leaped out like he was shot from a gun. Whites are a bit blown, but you get the idea.

Cleo - Canon's grandmother - enjoying the sun the afternoon after the blizzard. She got stuck in a drift that morning and I had to dig her out. She is 10 years, 2 months old and completely blind. She hesitated going out in the afternoon cause she didn't want to get stuck again in something she couldn't see. I finally convinced her to go out and she really enjoyed the blue skies and bright sun.
