I woke up early today (2:30pm) to a cold but sunny day, and had a sudden urge to go photograph Latourelle Falls. I haven't photographed it since I first got y D80 3-4 years ago, and on that day it was raining. Today I wanted to capture it, with my new lens. My main goal was to catch the moss glowing. I don't know if I succeeded, I may have to try in the morning hours and later in the year when the sun doesn't like to hide behind the cliff.

I also learned today, that the trail from one of the lookouts doesn't just go to another lookout, but keeps climbing and climbing, and hidden above the big guy is Upper Latourelle Falls. A little rough to photograph today, the light is above and behind the waterfall in the gap of trees. I know on a cloudy day or in the morning I can do much better. But it was nice seeing a waterfall I've never seen before.
