Hey Guys,

I know all of you have already rolled your eyes at the anticipation of my question. I was wanting to pickup a fixed lens for my Canon 60D. Pets are my primary portrait subjects, but we love to shoot macro.

I know that the Canon EF50mm f/1.4 USM is the "go to" lens. I have however read that the EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM is a nice and sharp macro and works well as a walk-about. Not to muddy it up even more, why not throw in the 85mm f/1.8 for good measure as I have seen some writings of human portrait photogs who love it.

Is there a way to kill two birds with one stone (50mm with 1x4 teleconverter), 60mm Macro, or should I just plan to buy separately for the specific job and if so which.

Thank you, Doug
