When you look at the diversity of dog breeds in the world it's almost hard to image that they were derived from wolves.
Well, actually lots of experts think today's domestic breeds were derived from both Wolves and Jackals. On the other hand, there are some experts who think that Jackals were derived from Wolves as well so I guess saying they all go back to Wolves is correct. Hard for me to admit that Pomeranians are derived from Wolves, though
