Recently returned from a photo trip to Ecuador with Tropical Birding (tropicalbirding.com). On this trip I saw 137 species of birds that I had never before seen. The entire country is vertical and about half of our photography was done at over 11,000 feet.

Pale Mandibled Araçari
This bird was moving berries up from his crop to the tip of his foot long mandible and then crushing them before swallowing the berries. This was shot through a glass window, so it is not quite as sharp as it could have been.
