Selectmen approve cell tower moratorium
By a March 5 vote of 4 to 1, the Mount Desert Board of Selectmen approved a 180-day moratorium on the construction of cell towers in Mount Desert. The move comes on the heels of news that joint negotiations between the MDI League of Towns, Acadia National Park and AT&T remain ongoing.
