We call them Turkey Buzzards.

We have a lot of these here in the Chama Valley. These shots were real easy. I was driving to OspreyLand and caught up and passed them, they were cruising down the highway looking for road kill, I got about 1/2 mile ahead of them pulled of the road and waited for them standing under a tree and go a few shots off as they went by.
