A climber is lifted during a rescue on Sunday after three were injured in a climbing accident at the rock face at Otter Cliffs in Acadia National Park near Bar Harbor, Maine. Ranger Will Overton said two men tumbled from the rock face, and one or both landed on a third climber at the bottom.

The Town of Estes Park's free shuttle system begins offering daily service Friday, June 21. Now in their eighth season, the shuttles provide convenient transportation for residents as well as visitors. Town administrator Frank Lancaster reminds residents that the shuttles are an easy way to get around town, especially downtown, during the heavy traffic season. Shuttles are particularly useful in commuting to a downtown workplace. Lancaster explained, "Consider parking your car at the Fairgrounds Park-n-Ride or the Estes Park Visitor Center and board a shuttle to travel to dozens of stops around Estes Park."
