Rota National Park study bill again passes US House
The U.S. House of Representatives has again passed legislation authorizing the Interior secretary to study the suitability and feasibility of adding areas on Rota to the National Park system. The Rota Cultural and Natural Resources Act, H.R. 674, was adopted without dissent yesterday. Delegate Gregorio Kilili C. Sablan (Ind-MP), the bill's author, managed H.R. 674 during floor debate. The House approved the Rota study legislation in both the 111th and the 112th Congresses, but the Senate has never acted.

Yellowstone, Grand Teton park visitors warned of spike in sicknesses
Vacationers at Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks this summer should make extra efforts to wash their hands, the National Park Service urged Wednesday, after noting a spike in sicknesses among visitors so far.
