I used a simple little OSX app called ArtText 2. It has some built-in clipart. I chose a leaf and added some text. I exported it as an EPS (vector image format) file so that I could change the size for different purposes without it pixelating or becoming fuzzy. When I bring it into Photoshop, I drop it in a new layer over my photo, and then reduce the opacity to about 18 percent. However, that value varies, depending upon the contents of the photo.
