When I saw your great pics it brought back some terrifying memories for me from my first visit to Glacier Park (1986) . My wife and I were hiking near Logan pass when a huge marmot sprang from the bushes beside the trail and savagely attacked my hiking boots. It was all we could do to escape from this ferocious creature. It just sends chills down my spine. My wife was quick thinking enough to capture the encounter on film.
