daveman - I was curious to follow up on this because I remember using the shadow/highlight tool in PSCS2 to make sure detail wasn't lost in the white water. I took another look on both of my monitors and confirmed that by-and-large all the detail is there. My monitor calibration software reminds me to re-calibrate every two weeks (and I always do what my computer tells me to do ) so I'm wondering if what you're seeing represents a difference between our monitors. If yours is also dialed in yet you're still seeing a lot of blown highlights, then I'm definitely curious to understand what's going on. Whaduhyathink?
