"James, There was an email sent out from EPN asking for submissions and I submitted that one. It was the one chosen. I have GOT to get better about getting releases for my work. I was able to get one for this shot, but, I need to be better!"

Hey Julie,

You are bringing up an important issue. Any time you photograph humans, you absolutely need a release. Some folks on the forum have made the 2nd side of their business card a release. It seems much less daunting then the model release I currently use. It is funny, for a wedding, it is part of my contract. Generally for my pet portrait work, there is no contract and I feel more uncomfortable presenting a release. That is the reason why I never show the humans in the shoots that I do during a pet portrait sitting. Something to break myself out of.
