I love the shots colors and the dreamy seafoam. Very creative use of the shutter speed. If I had any cretique it wouldnt be of any of the variables you tried....it would be in composition. The weird part is I see lines of composition like the waterway diagionally from the lower left up to the upper right (where the seagull is) and the horizon is at about a 1/3 way down...all classic pieces of proper compostition. For this reason....shot #1 seems to bring it together best (for me) and I personally think the seagull brings a dynamic element to the shot. I have one question though....how long were you in the area before the light started to pop? (personally I am notorious for arrivng just as the light starts and I have to scramble to get where I need to be.....lol.)
What I am getting at is did you have time to stomp around and visualize what you wanted?....play with camera angles, and available safe shooting spots?
Hopefully you understand I'm not picking your shot apart(I always do...lol)....I really like and follow your work....and I would want somone to tell me what I need to bring me up to the next level. You have good raw talent.....and I can see what your heart is seeing....its just not fully getting recorded.
