what we'll probably do with those we decide to use in the magazine is make them B&W. That way we can filter out all the chroma noise and what's left will simply look like good old-fashioned grain. Then I can be a little more aggressive with my sharpening.

But that's for another day. Today, I need to catch up with the kids that missed us while we were away. Sundance is acting needy and needs to walk some miles with me to feel wanted again.
