Thank you Jim, I appreciate both your own comments and those of James. I walk about this place a lot, and the light seemed particularly attractive this day, as did the mist settling on the reservoir. I used to do more black and white photography but am currently trying to understand more about colour. I was trying to get the moment when people were in the scene and gave some scale to the landscape, and at the same time capture something of the particular quality of the moment.

I do believe however that I do not give enough thought to exactly what I am trying to achieve. Thanks again.
