Just a quick illustration of my point about feminine girls and manly boys. Sundance's sister, Cali, visited last week and I took a few shots to share with the owner of their father, Sonny. Here's a headshot of Cali.

While neither of these two images are great head portraits, they certainly illustrate that both dogs have nice heads at 20 months of age. And Sundance is certainly not going to be considered a "bitchy" dog nor will Cali be considered a doggy bitch.

BTW, Cali weighs 109 lbs. and Sundance 140 lbs. They are both large for their genders. I also tend to favor dogs/bitches that tend toward the top of the standard. Not over standard, but larger than the median.
