I certainly was not commenting on the camera. I for one will be purchasing the 5d mk11 the minute I can justify it. It clearly is an awesome camera.

Lighting is just a place where my head is most of the time and the effects of different lighting. I wouldn't think the "white house photographer" would be the individual shooting an image for the National Archives or even a portrait to be hung in the White House, although I could be wrong. I would suspect a very high end known pro would be called on to do that. I also don't think I am any where close to being good enough to be an official photographer for the Harvey Putzo house much less the White House. :-)
