The fun part (the addictive part) of watching these 4 ft tall birds is the way they act. It is fascinating.
My favorite shots are of the way they fight each other over the food.





This guy was fishing, only to have a larger male come and steal the meal before a third bird stops in for any leftovers. The second bird squaks, asserting his ownership..














These were from much further away, probably 100yards or more. You can get several thousand shots here, enough to process for a long time. This is my fourth or fifth year on these, we get em for about a five week window as they return North to Canada from California and Mexican waters...fascinating.
