Actually, no, it doesn't. The year and symbol requirements were done away with several years ago.

you have to use either the copyright symbol or the word copyright followed by the year and followed by the copyright owner

This is the correct way to label for copyright notification.
A lot of people label for other purposes besides "official copyright notice".
