One more note: while last week was devastating to us emotionally, this week we got back a bit of joy. Juneau, our Rowdy granddaughter, was confirmed to be pregnant. While we won't know how many puppies until around November 2 when we Xray, the vet did say that she felt "multiple fetuses". We hope to keep a Rowdette from this litter.

The irony of the vet visit was that we confirmed Juneau's pregnancy and were given Rowdy and Cash's ashes to bring home with us. Oddly, it felt right to be sharing our joy with the two boys. And it was good to bring them home again.

So, keep a look out for puppy pics starting around November 8. We will be whelping the litter here at Puppy Central.
