Ok....I can see what caught your eye, but it is presented in a static maner. Not tryign to be too rough...but I just see shadows...and sandstone in random pattern.

Maybe zooming into the more even rolls on the well lit left hand side with a good zoom could have yeilded a useful pattern of the sandstone stripes justaposed by the skinny horizontal shadows....and tilting them to make the lines non static.

One of the FIRST things I do when I reach a scene that captures my attention is sit and look at it. Figure out what caught my eye......thats the beginning of finding a composition.....just leave the camera in the bag....and stomp around a bit.
