Hey guys,
I have recently launched a redesigned website to showcase my pet (and people) photography (www.jasonkb.com). I am located in Toronto, canada and trying to break into the pet photography scene. I shoot both on location and in studio.
I would love to hear feedback about both my website and my portfolio (particularly the pet section). I have had lots of feed back from friends, family and clients but I would love to hear what you guys in the animal photography field think of my work.
I truly appreciate your feedback.
My website is www.jasonkb.com
Thanks in advance,
Jason www.jasonkb.com
Jason,
The site is very nice and the work is great.
Since you are looking for constructive criticism let me tell you some of my nits.
First, I always wonder why people usa an "Enter" screen. Unless you are trying to keep underage kids out of your site I see entry screens as just another click I have to do to get to the site.
My real problem with the site however is the use of a maximized window for your first screen and galleries. I have a big screen monitor with lots of things happening on it and it is annoying to me when I go to a site and it takes over my entire monitor, especially when it will not allow me to normalize the screen. I feel like the site is hyjaking my screen.
I also agree about the scrolling of the thumbnaile.
These comments are meant strictly as constructive and I hope it helps.
Again, nice site.
