Thanks for the nice comment. I too helped a baby opossum by feeding it with a bottle. I fed it milk, cat food juice and V-8. After a week I turned it over to the aminal rescue people. They said I done a good job on saving it. It was placed in a box of about twelve more just like it.

They are not susceptible to rabies, thank goodness, so that did not become a consideration. Two very potent antibiotics later, I know now to keep my fingers out of the mouth of an opposum.
