here in the great ole USA you can sleep in whatever you want, a box if you like!

The issues here are the places you choose to park it. you need to pay in most national and state parks. But, out west in the USA, there lots of public land and lots of pull offs along the road where you can sleep. You are limited to 14 days on most public lands, and then you have to move. . .

Not sure about cananda, i camp there a lot, and my assumtion is that they will let you sleep in your car too, but similar rules apply as the one's I just described.. .
