What is happening to cause the water levels to rise in Mono lake? I have not heard that...

Back in the 70s-80s Mono Lake was a cause celeb in California. Once they stopped LA from diverting water the lake has slowly been rising. As I mentioned though, it will take a long time before the tufas are covered.

I love shooting at the lake and try to get down that way every year. Here are some panos from years gone by
