That is awesome to hear. I have been debating the purchase of a 7d for ages because of the super-fast frame rate as compared to my 5dii. I keep hoping that Canon will announce a new 5 series (or, LOL, the vaporware 3d). The AF on the 5dii is primitive, event compared to the 40d (it owes its AF back to the 20d - with 5 additional 'hidden AF points').
