welcome to the site. I'm glad you posted a shot. I will jump right in with a few suggestions.

the pose is nice, the crop is good. the color I feel is off, it's too green. I also think it's out of focus, and there's camera shake. I dont think it's a publishable image.

I also think you would need to shoot it a little lower, at eye level, or a bit lower. I think you need sharp hair to have a good "wild" animal shot.
