Tony gave you excellent critiques. I don't have much to add except to 2nd the early morning/late afternoon. I personally love early morning.

You can choose which will work best considering where the sun will be rising/setting at. Midday sucks.

I know we have been having BEAUTIFUL sunsets with crimson, golds and violettes lately. So, these same shots with skies that color would be wondeful

Morning has such a warm, diffuse light that 7-8am makes this wonderful golden glow.
