"How much work do you spend getting rid of the shadows for your clients, or do you not bother?"
I do absolutely nothing for my proofs ... and in this case, I had the background light set wrong, normally it's not common to have foreground shadows!
But for prints with white backgrounds I remove all shadows except those UNDER the animal ... it only takes a few seconds, as I've been doing it forever.
