These are nice falls, but the Dynamic range is well beyond the range of what the camera can capture. The composition is ok, but details like the stick on the left side detract from the scene. I really like to stomp around my chosen subjects and see how they look from diffrent views. I usually wear shoes that complement that (strong hiking boots with grippy soles) and would have explored to the right of the current spot and tried to use a wider lens and use those big rocks as a foreground item to anchor the frame with.
This would have given you a tighter crop isolating the falls better, and the top of what looks like a bridge above the falls could have been elminated.
This shot...and falls....have a lot of potential....and your well on your way. If it is close enough...I would revisit it and spend some time safely but adventurously exploring that area....and seeing what you can extract from this very nice subject.
