This is Rocky, a 12 year old Basset with cancer. He seems to be moving along pretty well - and was a pleasure to photograph. The series under the bridge (I have a bunch of different ones) are my favorites.

Thank you very much for the comments. The e-mail I received from the owner was more than touching. It seems to me that this illustrates the value of why what we do is important. Not every pet we photograph is sick - far from it, but these photos have longitudinal (sp) value as time goes by.
