well, the expression is nice the composition works so it's a nice shot.

I can say this that might help you improve - or maybe not, you did not say if you shot this through glass - but it's a bit blurry, and I think too warm. I think your exposure was off a bit too. meter the black and then add 1.5, or open up a stop and a half, or spot meter the green and shoot that exposure - green leafs are almost always about 18% gray, or at least they are middle tone. . . .

Hey Jon,

My comments are similar to Tony's. I think that the composition is great. It is really a beautiful pose. you did a nice job capturing the guy. However, the image is slightly out of focus. There is also a definite WB and exposure issue as well.

Thanks for the comments. It is blurry. I shot it offhand at 300mm.The gorillas were moving into their house and it was now or never. It would have been much nicer to tripod it. I'll go back and redo the photoshop. Thanks Jon
