Dear all,

I came across this site on dpreview. Please excuse me if you've seen these photos already

It's quite difficult to find a green lawn in Hongkong and this was our second time taking Pansy out for fun. She was 5 months when these photos were taken. We were not that worried of her running away, but she did run fast though (last time she didn't run) We were amazed at her speed.

Hope you guys will enjoy the photos

Hi Edward,

Thanks for sharing your kitty pics. I particularly like the second one in the series. I envy the fact that you can bring your cats outside. How are you doing that in a big city like Hong Kong?

Are you missing some shots from your group? You have 8 listed but I only see 4.

Thanks!

Hi James, thank you. Yeah, not too many folks have the "guts" to take their cats outside, just kidding :P
Our other cat Macy doesn't like to go out. We are having hardtime pushing (or forcing in fact) her inside the bag when doing the yearly injection.

Hmm, maybe it's the hosting server got problem again

Hey Edward,

More of them are coming through now. I am just missing #9.

Anyway, the more I look at your collection, the more I like them. Was this all selective focus or did you blur some in PS to exaggerate the effect?

Hey James, this is the link for #9:

http://www.fotop.net/edwardtsang/MyCat/MG_9100_2

The bokeh was straight out from the lens, I didn't PS. I like the dreamy effect of the shallow DOF, and in fact, the background wasn't that "nice" :P So I prefered to hide them with DOF.

Hey Edward,

They are very well done. I was not sure if they were PS'd or not.

I like your avatar, by the way!

My PS skills are limited to AutoLevel, USM and Saturation :P

The avatar was done by PS though
