I was looking at your EXIF data and I happened to notice that your copyright notice in your comment field is still reading 2007 and the image was taken in 2008. You might want to update it.

Hi Kelly, I'm a newbie here too. I like the composition and a larger moon than original but perhaps something in between the two sizes. Also it looks to me that the shadow recovery tool was pushed perhaps just a wee bit too far. Things can look flat buried in shadow but if the tool is pushed too far, the effect can circle back around and look flat because too much is revealed from the shadows.

Thanks for the look and for the input. I did re-size the moon after looking at it for awhile. It was definitely too big. I cut it down to about half of the size you see in this post.
