I thought I'd introduce you to another member of the Garvie Clan -- Cassidy aka Annihaus Rowdy's B Cassidy. Cassidy is the 5-year-old daughter of Rowdy and is an Annie granddaughter. She is also Sundance's mother -- although she is loath to admit it .

Cassidy needs only a major to finish her AKC Championship and she has all her health clearances including Hips Good. We intend to breed her for the second -- and final -- time her next heat cycle which should happen in April.

Right now, Cassidy is working on becoming an Agility Dog. She has tremendously high energy and yet is a very sweet girl -- kinda the eternal struggle between the Annie side of her and the Rowdy side .

We love her and wanted you to meet her photographically if not in person. So, here's Cassidy.

thanks. She really thinks of herself as a puppy and behaves that way . She's struggling with the fact that her own son is now the puppy of the household. So, sometimes she's his mom and sometimes she's his playmate. It's fun to watch her trying to figure out her role.

She's a doll and I only wish I could find someone with two good knees to run her in Agility .

Thank you Mr. Holmes. This one wasn't as easy as Rowdy or Annie who are trained to within an inch of their lives. Cassidy never got the Obedience training of her dad or grandma so simple things like "Stand" and "Stay" seem to elude her during a photo session. And if you throw a toy or cookie, forget it. She's on it like a cat.

So given the fact that I shoot my guys alone without a handler or baiter, it is sometimes hard to get her to hold her stack and look where I want her to look. In this case, I took what I could get even though she's posting a bit. When I show her, it's easy to just pull her up over her front with bait but not when she's free-baiting like in the stacked image.

Can't wait to try to get shots of the rest of the crew!

Thanks Julie. She's "finer" than I'd like ideally but she's very correct structurally and moves like the wind -- just like her dad, Rowdy. When given choices, we almost always take correct over type. Then there's Sundance but that's another story and another reason for the choice. We fell in love with him.
