Thanks for sharing this article. I was not aware that they had shut down. It is ironic that in the age of 'instant,' that they were not able to provide instantly enough to stay in business. It still bothers me what has happened with film over the last few years.

Yeah. Tri-x is gone,etc. In a few years the large companies will likely get out of the film business altogether. If you still want to use it you will be buying from small specialty outfits at high prices.
Film is completely gone in the hospital. All x-rays are digital.
