I am leaving Cleveland OH on 3/22 and heading to the birding spots in FL. Will stop at Blackpoint Wildlife Drive at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. Then onto the Blue Heron Wetlands facility center in Titusville, then to Viera Wetlands wildlife area west of Melbourne. Next is Loxahatchee NWR then onto Shark Valley in the Everglades. Next to Estero Lagoon,Venice Rookery, Myakka River state park, then onto Fort Desoto and finally Homosassa Springs. Will return to Cleveland on 3/31. I go every year. Been to all these places before. Spent 7 months in the Keys last year. It's just to get away and see what I can add to my collection. Using different gear this year.

Have you stopped at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm, with your equipment, this would be a perfect venue for you. You will find many breeding birds very close to the boardwalk and also many birds in flight. Usually April and May is the best months but it will be good for you at this time.

Been to the alligator more times than I can remember. Don't have time for it this trip.

I take I-77 South to I-26 East to I-95 South. Nowhere near Nashville. Sorry
