Hi everybody, just wanted to get your opinions on this recent image in Cades Cove Tennessee. I've passed this tree many times at visits to Cades Cove, but this was one of the best opportunities for an image. I submitted it to National Geo's "Your Shot" and it made it to the Daily dozen site for the 1st Week of June. http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/your-shot/voting-machineHope the Editors at National Geo Like it. dale

The design of the image is lovely. I am not sure about the split look of black and white on top and color on the bottom. I think that makes the image disunited. I might try warming up the top to see if that works a bit more evenly.

Dale, Nice picture. Interesting how the color only really shows in the grass. Have you looked at it as a B & W? Here is, I think, the same tree from last October. Love Cades Cove!
