Everyone:

Here is my christmas picture again- I am reposting because I figured out how to add copyright information and I decided that should be with the picture. Since I pulled the one without identification, I'm reposting.

*********************************************************

This is a holiday portrait of Ginger Weasley. She's ten weeks old, and thinks being photographed is great fun.

I was trying to get Ginger to sit next to the holly arrangement for a portrait, but she kept trying to hide behind the holly so I went with the flow. I hope the leaf by her face isn't too distracting.... but I was going for the impression that she's "hiding" from Santa Paws so she doens't get coal in her stocking!

I took this with a Canon 85mm f/1.8 lens. I love this lens and it's great in situations where I don't have to move too much (such as when I have a helper). I get a great effect in my one-on-one sessions, like this one with Ginger.

That is by far my favorite of your offerings here to date!

I like "hiding" pose and there is just enough holly to get the point across without distracting from the adorable little kitten.

This one is a greeting card waiting to be made.

Tori,
lovely. I like everything about it. Like you, I love the 85 F1.8 because it allows you to isolate the subject so nicely. As Jim Poor says, this is the best image that you've shared to date and is one we'd all be proud to have created.

Jim

This is nicely done. That is a great portrait lens!
