Hi this is my first time, so please be gentle with me, please would some one out there critque this shot of the stigma of this beautiful Lilly.

The Lily looks great. You have good crip detail in the image. Nicely done. Make sure your color balance is correct.

As mentioned, you need to check your white balance. Looks like a bit of color cast on the image.

You might want to consider "Gestalt", which basically states that people see in a certain way. Most people read from left to right and will attempt to do so naturally when looking at an image. Flip your image so it flows from left to right instead of right to left and see if you like that composition.

Sue I actually disagree with this one. The rule you're talking about is generally a good one but this picture works great ignoring it. Breaking the rules might seem risky but in this case works awesome. I would even say that other way round would make it seem quite akward.

I do agree about the white balance tho - some sorting out of levels and colors in post processing could easily fix that tho.
